Inner city work skews towards licensed roles, and licensed workers skew towards holding their own ABN. Riggers, dogmen and experienced traffic controllers frequently operate as contractors with their own insurance and qualifications, and that is usually the right fit for a lift day or a permit driven closure.

Site labour engaged for a longer run on one project is a different case. Where you are directing and rostering someone across weeks, casual employment on our payroll is the cleaner arrangement, and it puts the wages, PAYG, superannuation and WorkCover obligation on us rather than leaving a question over it.

We supply both models on the same project under one agreement. Timesheets are approved by your site supervisor and consolidated into a single weekly invoice, and site specific inductions are arranged before the shift where you tell us in advance.
