Civil crews for the south east growth corridor's subdivisions, roads and drainage, plus the Pakenham and Officer industrial estates.
Bluestone Labour Group supplies civil labourers, plant operators, concreters and traffic controllers to subdivision and road sites across Pakenham, Officer, Clyde and Clyde North, along with warehouse and production workers for the industrial estates around Pakenham and Officer. This is the south east growth corridor, and most of the work here is civil: new estates being cut, drained, sealed and kerbed stage by stage before the houses go up.
The corridor runs across two councils. Clyde, Clyde North and Cranbourne East sit in the City of Casey, while Officer, Beaconsfield and Pakenham sit in Cardinia Shire. Both have large residential growth areas still in civil construction, and Cardinia has planned employment precincts at Officer South and Pakenham South that will bring industrial subdivision, road and drainage work of their own as they are developed. We write this page around that civil work first and the warehousing and manufacturing second, because that is the order the corridor asks for.
Subdivision civil first, then the industrial estates along the Princes Freeway.
Drainage, trenching, pipe laying and general site labour for the staged estates through Clyde, Clyde North and Officer.
Excavator, roller, grader and loader operators for bulk earthworks and road base, with a verification of competency for each machine.
Pour crews and formworkers for kerb and channel, crossovers, footpaths and drainage pits across the new estates.
Ticketed controllers for road tie ins and intersection works on the arterials feeding the estates, such as Thompsons Road and Cardinia Road.
Pick packers, storepersons, forklift operators and process hands for the Pakenham and Officer industrial areas.
Not an exhaustive list. If your site is nearby and not named, ask.
Bluestone Labour Group holds Victorian Labour Hire Licence VICLHL11535. In Victoria a host must use a licensed labour hire provider, and the obligation sits with you as well as with us.
Most civil sites in this corridor are run to a staged programme, so the crew you start a stage with is the crew you want to finish it. We hold the same workers on your job where we can, and tell you in advance when someone is moving on, rather than sending a new face for every stage and putting you through another round of inductions.
Our workers are casual employees on our payroll under the relevant award. We pay their wages and superannuation and carry their WorkCover. The only workers we engage on an ABN are plant operators who bring their own machine. You get one weekly invoice for the whole crew, with timesheets approved by your supervisor, and no sign up fee or minimum crew size.
Pakenham sits at the outer edge of our usual south east coverage. For a regular booking beyond it, such as Koo Wee Rup or Nar Nar Goon, we agree any travel arrangement before the first shift rather than adding it later. For the checks behind every placement, see what a civil contractor should expect from a labour hire provider.

24 to 48 hours covers most requests for general civil labour. Ticketed roles such as dogmen, traffic controllers and operators for a particular machine need more notice, so tell us the full crew and ticket mix up front.
Our workers are casual employees on our payroll under the relevant award, with WorkCover and superannuation from their first shift. The only exception is a plant operator who brings their own machine, who may be engaged on an ABN.
